Candambly is a Zanobian diasporic religion practiced in the islands of Antillia and parts of Esmaria. It shares roots with its fellow diasporic faith Sintry in the invocation of deities from the Oredodo pantheon; however, the faith adapts tenets and deities from other West Zanobian pantheons. An example of this lies in the belief of the lwas, spirits upon the world who act on the behalf of the creator god. In order to communicate with these intercessors of the divine, ritual possession is invoked in a fashion to similar to that of the orishas in Sintry. Rituals are performed to help communicate with these spirits, usually in the form of sacrificed animals or offered fruits.
